This is us, Ajay & LaToya. We’re the husband and wife duo behind wedding and event planning company SW Events.
We’ve been planning Asian weddings since 2012 and have had the pleasure of working in some of the UK’s most prestigious venues, such as the V&A Museum, Blenheim Palace, Claridge’s & Cliveden House.
We’ve also built some great relationships with some of the best suppliers in the Asian Wedding Industry. AND importantly have picked up a whole bunch of tips over the years that it's just time for us to share.

Design Studio - imagine a private Pinterest board but with the ability to add comments and colour palettes as well as being able to send design board to your suppliers so they know exactly what you like and don't like

Is this for us?
The short version is that we either know and trust every supplier on the AWC supplier listing or another wedding planner or supplier has highly recommended them to us. It's also a balance of giving you choice without overwhelming you, which means the AWC Approved Suppliers are not an exhaustive list of everyone we've ever worked with.
what is the difference between other supplier directories and your awc approved supplier listing?
We wanted to make this Membership super accessible to everyone. Our plan was to make the value of the membership so great that it's a no brainer for members to join.
why is the membership fee so low?
You absolutely can. In this case it's most suited to you if the supplier deals are not the biggest item for you, as all of our suppliers are currently based in the UK. The planning software and masterclasses though can be used wherever you are!
I don't live in the UK, can I still join?
We do, however it is a list that we are still growing. Being Southern based ourselves, the majority of our suppliers are currently based in the South (although many travel). This is a priority for us as so many of you are from all over the country!
Do you have suppliers outside of london?
This is membership with a one off cost that covers you until your final wedding event. It also means that if you have to postpone your wedding events for any reason, you're still covered at no extra cost. Crazy, right?
How long does my membership last?
You'll receive a welcome email telling you what happens next. It will include what you need to do to get set up on the planning software, the dates for the live virtual sessions.
what happens when I join?
The AWC Membership is for couples who would prefer to plan their weddings themselves. On the day coordination will be one of the AWC Services coming soon. We do also have a planning company that can plan your wedding for you if you prefer. And if we're not available, we can certainly refer you to other great planners.
